In June 2026, the AI company Halo AI brought us in to cover their presence at Cannes Lions, the international festival of creativity. The brief was simple to say and hard to do: film a full day of interviews and moments on the Croisette, and have finished, publishable edits ready while the festival was still running. Here is exactly what that looked like, with the published results.
The production, in numbers
- Shot on 25 June 2026 at Cannes Lions, on and around the Croisette in Cannes.
- 226 clips and 157 GB of raw 4K footage captured in a single shoot day.
- 17 finished pieces delivered: graded, subtitled and mastered, in 1080p horizontal and 9:16 vertical for social.
- Audio mastered at broadcast loudness on every piece.
- The edit run started at 3 a.m. and the complete set was in the client's hands the morning after the shoot.
The published results
The point of event coverage is speed while the moment is still alive. These are Halo AI's own public Instagram posts from the coverage, published while Cannes Lions was still the conversation:
- Halo AI at Cannes Lions, reel one on Instagram
- Halo AI at Cannes Lions, reel two on Instagram

How a one-day turnaround actually works
Overnight delivery is not editing heroics, it is preparation. Three things make it possible. First, the shoot is structured for the edit: interviews framed consistently, audio on separate tracks, B-roll captured with the cut-downs already in mind. Second, ingest and organisation happen during the shoot day, not after it, so the edit starts from a sorted library instead of a card dump. Third, the finishing chain, colour, subtitles and loudness, runs as a pipeline rather than one file at a time. That is how 226 clips become 17 publishable pieces in one night.
Built for on-location work
This project ran entirely on location: no studio, no controlled room, just the event as it happened. That is the core of what we do across the Riviera. The same crew and kit that covered Cannes Lions handles panels, conferences and brand events, executive interviews at your venue, and shoots on yachts and villas from Saint-Tropez to Monaco. If your event is in Cannes, we are twenty minutes away.
